the direction in slow semicircles, before making a lunge, back arched,
towards the prize. He sometimes smiles, mouth open, at his phantom
friend.

Baby relaxin after lunch. My firstattempt at reading a book while
feeding. Feeding while laying downat night has led to much more
restful nights. I am already forgetting the insanity ofthose first ten
days.

Took our first family walk to starbucks. First walk I've been on since
the birth. Bens first stroller ride too.
